Jen Manning - Freelance Artist

Professional

Jen has been a professional full-time freelance artist since 2013 working on commissions of all subjects for private clients. To date she has had three successful solo shows on a variety of colourful themes resulting in several sales.

Jen has also sold her work successfully at several contemporary art fairs in Royal Leamington Spa. She has also been involved in voluntary work for BRINK, a local contemporary art organisation as well as a local art society.

Jen had her third solo show at a wine shop in a local Warwickshire town. The exhibition showcased a variety of work, from mystical caves and figures, to a group horse portrait.

Fred Winter department store, Stratford-upon-Avon

June - August 2012

Jen had her second solo show at a large furniture/ homeware store in Stratford-Upon-Avon, Warwickshire. Entitled 'Portraits in Parallel' the exhibition received positive reviews from local press and even featured in Focus magazine. The work featured was a collection of large contemporary portraits, mainly celebrity.

Gallery 150, Livery Street, Royal Leamington Spa

July 2011

Jen's first solo exhibition was held at Gallery 150, a successful gallery in the heart of Leamington Spa. It featured a large collection of work created over several years, on all subjects to do with the natural world, wildlife, flora and fauna.

Exhibitions

A joint large mural with Lord Numb, featuring Jen's love of trees and blues. From the 'Temporania' exhibition (hosted by BRINK Contemporary Arts) in a disused council building in Kenilworth.
